Family & Brethren -

Well its seems that Mother Nature wasn’t going to give up the winter season without a good fight.  I hope that this Trestleboard finds everyone back with heat and power and recovering nicely from the weekend storms. 

March is not a very busy month for the lodge, with the exception of the two practices for the coming Master Mason Degree.  Just as with any month, we can use all of the help that you are willing to give for the bean supper.  We still need a couple of cakes, and manpower (or womanpower) to run the supper is essential. 

On 3/3 I will be attending a meeting for the town on the topic of the widening of Rt. 109 and try to ascertain exactly how much this is going to affect us and what the possible consequences will be as far as our property goes.  I hope to have news and answers available at the stated meeting.

During the Weekend Storm, the power loss at the lodge caused the basement to flood with about two feet of water.  The boiler will be cleaned by Bro. Wayne Smith, and we are in hopes that we can dry out the electronics on the freezers enough to allow us to plug them back in without any damage.  We’ll know more about the extent of the damage in the next couple of days.
