Master's Message
Brethren,Brethren,
We have started the year with our first meeting, and all went very well. Our brethren are ready to go to work. Our installation was ceremonial and memorable. So far we have increased the amount of our scholarship. It was suggested by MW Brother Wayne Adams that we form a committee to visit some of our shut in brothers and bring them a little fellowship. This committee will be chaired by Brother Stedman Seavey. We are open to ideas and suggestions from all, and would like to see you at our monthly and special meetings. We are a wonderful fraternity and should demonstrate some pride by being active. You all have a good month and hope to see you at the lodge.
Fraternally,
Gerard Rocray WM

Broken Column Brooch
The broken column brooch was first introduced in 1861 during the American Civil War for the ladies of Masons who were engaged in hostilities.
Inevitably, many of these brethren did not return, and as the ladies continued to wear the brooch it gradually became accepted as a Widows’ Brooch throughout North America and Canada. More recently it is having increasing acceptance throughout the United Kingdom. It serves to symbolize the continued concern for the widow of a brother Mason and is used as a means of recognition.
