MASTER’S MESSAGE
I would also like to thank everyone that turned out for our Stated and Annual Meeting on December 17, 2012.
After the election of officers that evening, St. John’s
Lodge F&AM concluded the night with the installation of officer for
2012- 2013. We were very thankful to have
Most Worshipful Claire Tusch, Wayne Adams and George
Pulkkinen as the installing suite and Right Worshipful John O. Bond as
Marshall. As you would suspect, they did a wonderful job and we thank them
very much for taking the time out of their busy schedule to be with us
that night.
I would also like to Thank, Worshipful Dennis Weightman for his year of service in the East during 2011- 2012 and as a team we hope to carry through on many of your initiatives, that you started during your tenure as Master of St John’s Lodge #51.
Your elected officers for 2012 -2013 are:
• Jeffrey Cutting – MasterWe have some exciting things planned for this year under the guidance of the activities and awareness committee headed by Brother David Lawson. Stay tune to the Trestle board for further details.
• Greg Fowler- Senior warden
• Harvey Barr- Junior Warden
• William Young –Secretary
• Gerald Macpherson- Treasurer
If you haven’t tried it yet, our Sunday Morning Masonic Breakfast is one of the best around. It is put on by the Brethren and dedicated helpers of the lodge and is a great place to go on a Sunday morning to meet old Friends and make new ones especially if you haven’t been to lodge in a while. The Breakfast is held the first Sunday of each month from 7am to 11 am. Public is welcome, so bring your family and you get a full plate of food for only $5.00 per person.
In addition to this, we are still holding on the last
Friday of every month until Memorial Day our Roast Beef Suppers. The price
is $8.00 per person and the public is welcome. Hours are 5:30 pm to 7pm
but be there early because it doesn’t last long! By the way, if you are
looking for a project on the afternoon of the supper, starting at 1 pm
we are looking for volunteers to help
prep the food. We always need help cutting up potatoes
and carrots and it is always fun.
My first night as Master, we balloted three candidates to receive the three Degrees of Masonry. We would love to have your assistance in welcoming these new members into the lodge by being a side liner and showing support. If you know of anyone else that would like to be a member of our lodge. We would love to talk to them. You can obtain an application thru Brother David Larson at 781-858-2863 or Bother William Young 603-289-7644
If you haven’t been to lodge in a while we would love to see you. Our Stated meeting night is the third Monday of each month, so mark it on your calendar, date book or I phone. Dinner is at 6:30 and Stated Meeting begins at 7:30 sharp. If you’re a bother that has problem driving at night, give us a call! We would be Happy to make arrangements for transportation, my home phone is 207-439-2802. If no one is home leave a message.
Reminder to all members of St John’s lodge, If you
know of a brother who is in distress and is unable to pay his heating bill.
